Sept 9
Breakfast: 1/2 small weight watcher's bagel, 2 egg omelet, veggies sauteed in olive oil
lunch: salmon & mayo in 1/2 Pita, 1/2 apple
snack: wasa bread, cheese, ham slice
dinner: cauliflower, salad, 2 sausages, glass wine
snack: plain yogurt with ground almonds

In Zone this is a balanced 10 block day. Very Happy

Sept 10th
Breakfast: smoothie with yogurt, cottage cheese. cantelope, peanut butter
lunch: salad ,1 apple,2 slices cold meat, 1 oz cheese, almond oil
appies: brie with red pepper jelly & crackers, wine
dinner: 1/2 potato, 1/2 corn cob, onion with white sauce, beets, pork chop, 1/2 whole wheat bun, more wine.
If that wasn't enough there was dessert: angle food cake and 1 scoop of mango ice cream.
no need for an evening snack today. not a perfect 10 day

Sept 11

Breakfast: yogurt, cottage cheese, apple sauce, peanut butter smoothie
Lunch: salad with lettuce, veggies, apple, meat cheese
snack: glass wine, 1 oz cheese
dinner: potatoe, corn, chicken, whole wheat bun, glass wine, Cashews

so far so good.... but who can resist angle food cake ...not me.

yet another not so perfect day, but not bad

Sept 8

Breakfast:[/i] Smoothie with 1/2 c yogurt, 1/4 c cottage cheese, 1/2 nectarine, 1 tsp peanut butter, protien powder
Lunch : Delicious cucumber (home grown) sandwich on home made carrot bread, olive oil mayo, almonds
Snack: glass wine, 1oz low fat cheese, kalamari
Dinner: Leftovers (from Columbo's) 1/4 c rice, small potatoe, 1/2 stuffed green pepper, slice Pastitsio (pasta & ground beef) glass wine

I start every day with good intentions.
Cross fit work out this morning, gardening this afternoon, I deserved that glass of wine Wink

Sept 12
Breakfast: first you get some veggies from the fridge - a little red pepper, onion, celery, saute it in olive oil, add 2 slices of turkey bacon cut up, pour over this 1 beaten egg plus equivalent egg white, cook til done. I forgot to mention that you have to use the perfect size pan that is the same size as the organic grain whole wheat tortilla shell, because when the eggs are cooked you put in on the tortilla shell and roll it up. Great breakfast you can hold it in one hand and turn the pages of the newspaper with the other. I only ate 1/2 of it, very filling.
Lunch : the rest of my tortilla, Salad made with 1/2 an apple, 1/2 a cucumber, 1 stalk of celery and 1 tbsp of mayo and 1/2 tsp grainy mustard all mixed up. a little brie and cold meat on the side. Surprisingly good.
Afternoon appie: whole grain tortilla shell covered with 6 sliced olives, 2 oz low fat cheese, finely cut jalapeno pepper - in the oven 10 minutes - cut up like a pizza and share with a friend like I did. and wine
Dinner: Last nights leftovers - a chicken leg and thigh & 1/4 breast - 11/2 cups stir fry veggies with sesame oil and fresh herbs. and wine

When I was writing down my food journal after dinner I forgot about the appie pizza so I decided to treat myself and had a small scoop of ice cream and cashews. It wasn't until I got to the computer to share my food day that I remembered, thus destroying my perfect 10 day.elephant I need a seniors moment forgetful happy face icon

Saturday/ Sunday

What is it about weekends...

Breakfast : crab cakes benny & home fries. If you go out for breakfast go to Radars Roost and have the Crab Cakes Benny... soooooo goooood. English muffin, crab cakes, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce.
Dinner: KFC, wine & Harry Potter movie with the grandkids.

At breakfast on Sunday the grandkids had pancakes & left over KFC. I had a smoothie.
Lunch: finished off the KFC
Dinner: Maui style ribs & stir fry

Sept 15th
Breakfast: chocolate chip muffin
& protien drink
Lunch: Salad with lettuce, tomatoe, cucumber, apple, cold meat & cheese, almond oil
Dinner: Veal, stir fry, rye bread & nuts

Better food choices today except the muffin it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
Excercise: went to Deanna's class in the morning, painted my bathroom in the afternoon

Sept 16th

Breakfast: Denver style omlete with tomato, onion & red pepper, olive oil. 1/2 nectarine on the side.
Lunch: Home made veggie soup, salad, cold meat, cheese, nuts
Snack: cheese ,wine
Dinner: BBQ ribs, baked potatoe (very small) with sour cream (low fat of course), roasted tomato, some nuts.

exercise: Fran - I did this at home - house work & more painting

Wednesday Sept 17th
Breakfast: 1/2 cut egg whites, beaten till foamy, put in a well oiled pan, added 1/c cup fresh pineapple, sprinkle with cinnamon, cover & cook til done. It is kind of like a fruity crepe - pretty good actually
Lunch : Tuna tortilla roll/wrap thingy- with a little onion, celery, mayo, cream cheese
Snack: wine & cheese
Dinner: BBQ'd beef patty, sauted purple cabbage with apple, onion a little caraway, small potato with sour cream.

Exercize: nothing formal just 4 hours of non stop gardening

I stepped on the scale to day and have dropped 3 pounds, Very Happy

thursday - is it the weekend already

Breakfast: scrambled egg & toast
Lunch : Popcorn shrimp, salad, soup
Appy's: bread, dip, crackers, salsa, wine
Dinner: wine, Caesar Salad, cole slaw, potatoe salad, smoked tandori chicken, ice cream, apple crisp, fruit salad
did I mention wine.

no workout just on my feet all day making food.

Friday 19th

Breakfast : scrambled eggs & toast
Lunch : vegetable linguine and tandori chicken, 2 cookies
1st Dinner: or appy course : Caesar Salad, small piece of left over pork ribs
2nd dinner: Cole slaw, potato salad, bread, more left over chicken, apple crisp for dessert.

too many carbs yet again, but really good.

Workout at the park, running & pullups.

Saturday 20th

Breakfast: fruit salad (2 carb) protien drink, cottage cheese ( 2 protien) nuts (2fat)
Lunch : 1/2 cup cole slaw, 1/2 c. potato salad, 1 tomato, 1/2 piece bread (5 carb) cheese (2 Protien) olive oil on tomato, peanut butter on bread (3 fat)
Dinner: great pasta creation, 1 beer, (5 carb) rest of the tandori chicken (3 carb) ollive oil (2 fat)
Dessert: 1/2 piece zucchini cake (1carb)

starting to day I am posting the Zone values , for my I should have a 10 block day. If you do the math here I don't think it quite works out 13-7-7
finally the end of the leftover party food. Smile

Dinner 1/4 cup rice, 1 1/2 c. Cabbage, (2) , meatloaf (5),
snack: yogurt (2) + (2) Nuts & coconut oil (5)

10-12-10 ya ... I ate too much meatloaf.

Lunch: Soup, 2 Wasa bread, 1 cookie (3) cold meat + meat in the soup(3) , mayo, nuts (3)
Snack: wine (1) cheese (1)
Dinner: Purple cabbage, with apple & onion, pickle, wine top up (4) Rinder rouladen( german for thin sliced beef stuffed with ham, onion & pickle) (4), olive oil (3)
snack 1/2 slice zucchini loaf (1)

10-9-9

today's work out involved a lot of squatting & lifting - SDHP, sotts press & balance somthingorother. Question

Lunch: Soup (2) cold meat (2) almonds (2)
Snack: Rickerts Red (1), cheese (1)
Dinner: Beets, Roasted Tomatoe, Wine (4), rouladen (4), Butter, olive oil (4)


10-10-9 good day !!

Work out: 50-40-30-20-10 sit up, back extension

Work out # 2 - 2 1/2 hours gardening

Lunch: soup, Greek Salad, small pc. zucchini loaf (4) Feta cheese, chicken bacon (2) peanut butter (3)
Dinner : Aparagus, sweet potato, wine (5) Ham (5), nuts (5)

10-9-10

workout- 10 turkish getups, 20 sotts press (5lbs) 30 walking lunges (8lbs) 40 bench press (24lbs) 30 walking lunges, 20 sotts press, 10 turkish get up.

Breakfast: smoothie - 1/3 banana 1/4 c. fruit jiuce (2) 1/2 c cottage cheese (2) peanut butter (2)
Lunch: soup, Salad, zucchini loaf (finally it is finished) (4) cheese, cold meat, imitation crab meat (3) salad dressing (3)
Snack: wine, (1) cheese (1)
Dinner: too much........Hubby did the cooking tonight
fried potatoes, fried tomatoes, toast, wine (Cool 2 eggs, ham (4) butter, oilve oil, peanut butter (4)

I forgot what i ate yesterday- breakfast i think i recall a smoothie, lunch - huge salad, cheese, olives, 1/2 bacon & tomato sandwich- dinner was really good, new chicken recipe with some pasta and quite possibly a glass or 2 of wine.


Sunday:
1st breakfast : smoothie - raspberries, yogurt (2) cottag cheese (2) peanut butter (2)
2nd breakfast : waffle & raspberries (?) fritata , 2 sausages (4) whipping cream (4)
dinner: all the leftovers in the fridge, pasta (1) wine (2) chicken (3)

at Grammas house - 2 chocolate chip cookies, 2 plums, (?)


away for 2 weeks, I will eat poorly since i don't have to write it down. but I will be doing burpees
